The developing economies at present predominantly in the East and South Asian regions remains on a relatively strong growth trajectory amid the robust domestic demand conditions whereas the global economy on the other hand is facing a confluence of risks, which could severely disrupt economic activity and inflict significant damage on longer-term development prospects.
