INTERNSHIP PROGRAMME
NIICE welcomes applications from outstanding universities students pursuing studies in Political Science, History, International Relations, or related fields. The immersive internship programme offers students an opportunity to observe geopolitical and security developments from a Nepalese perspective, training in policy analysis and writing, and facilitates their access to Nepal’s strategic community.
Interns are required to assist Research Faculty in their research, write event reports, contribute original writing on contemporary geopolitical issues for the website, assist in administrative work, edit documents and web content, and perform other duties as assigned. Candidates should be highly motivated to learn the job, work under stressful and time sensitive deadlines, should have a flair for team work, have felicity in both written and spoken English and be comfortable working in a multi-national work environment. We are especially seeking young men and women who are looking for learning opportunities.
The internship programme is for minimum six months. The first three months of the internship will be unpaid. The Institute will pay an honorarium (for Nepalese national only) on completion of three months if found suitable for further retention.
