Anaisha Tiwari is a Research Intern at NIICE. She is a law student at Kathmandu School of Law, currently pursuing a Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Legislative Law (BA.LLB). Her academic and research interests lie in human rights, constitutional law, and decolonial legal thought, with a growing focus on international criminal law. She was awarded the Creativity Exposure Grant for a documentary project on the lives of street children in Kathmandu, showcasing her ability to merge legal research with creative storytelling. Anaisha’s interest in international criminal law is further reflected through her participation in the IBA ICC Moot Court Competition, where she developed oral and written advocacy skills on complex issues of individual criminal responsibility under the Rome Statute. She has also been an active participant in national and international seminars on indigenous rights, South Asian diplomacy, and decolonial jurisprudence.
