Pooran Chandra Pandey is a Visiting Fellow at NIICE. He specializes in public diplomacy, geo-politics and development cooperation covering energy, sustainability and climate and environment issues at intersection of India, China and Russia relations. He is currently a Policy Contributor to the Middle East Institute, Washington DC, and a Non-Resident Fellow at Nkofu Policy Institute, Cameroon, and Visiting Professor each at the UTS, Sydney, Deakin University, Melbourne, Nalanda University, and University of Oslo, Oslo. He is also a British Chevening Scholar at the London School of Economics and Political Science, London, United Kingdom. Mr. Pandey holds an M.Phil degree in International Relations from School of International Studies, Jawaharlal Nehru University, India and has been professionally trained in Russia, China, Sweden, Germany, the US, the UK and Japan. He is a Founding CEO of a Berlin based global think tank- Dialogue of Civilizations Research Institute (2016-2018), he also worked with the United Nations (2011-2016) and the Times of India (2007-2011), in senior leadership roles. He has co-edited a book “Leaving None Behind: Sustainable Develoment Goals and South-South Cooperation”. He is also well published in refereed journals, leading publications, and media outlets - both nationally and internationally besides sitting on boards of private sector undertakings, academic institutions, non-governmental organizations, think tanks and the United Nations.
