Preethi Amaresh is a Visiting Fellow at NIICE. Her research interests focus mainly on South and East Asia. She is pursuing PhD in International Relations from Geneva School of Diplomacy, Switzerland. She has authored “Nihonomics” (Economic Foreign Policy of Japan). She has contributed several articles on international relations and diplomacy for leading international magazines and think tanks and presented papers at various leading institutions. She holds double Masters degree in Psychology and International Relations from the University of Madras, India. Previously, she has worked with the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR), Indian Council for Cultural Relations (Ministry of External Affairs, Government of India), ABK-AOTS Dosokai Japanese organization, and others. She can speak Spanish, French, Italian, Japanese and Mandarin.
