Ashmita Gautam is a Visiting Fellow at NIICE. She focuses on Non-Traditional Security issues like Cyber Security, Internet Governance, International Trade and Development issues. She holds Masters in Economics (with specialisation in the World Economy) from Centre for International Trade and Development, School of International Studies, Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi. Previously, she has worked with the Government of India to analyze the impact of different economic policies at the National Level. Currently, she is working as an Assistant Manager at the Internet and Mobile Association of India (IAMAI) wherein the major tasks include organizing Public Policy Meetings with key stakeholders of the digital industry (like Netflix, HotStar, Amazon, Facebook and Reliance Jio) and submitting research reports on the telecommunications and digital policies of India.
