The Indo-Pacific Future Forum is the flagship event of the Indo-Pacific Research Network (IPRN) and the Nepal Institute for International Cooperation and Engagement (NIICE). This forum aims to foster dialogue, collaboration, and a deeper understanding of strategic issues impacting the Indo-Pacific region by bringing together policymakers, scholars, and experts from around the world. The objectives of the forum are to strengthen regional cooperation, address geopolitical challenges, encourage multilateral engagement, and foster policy innovation.
The previous Indo-Pacific Future Forum was organised from 15-26 December 2024. The theme of the two-day conference is Connecting Saagar to Sagar, where “Saagar” represents the Indo-Pacific region, and “Sagar” refers to Sagarmatha (Mount Everest). There were 147 speakers from 27 countries.
