Dr. Li Li
Dr. Li Li is a senior fellow and the Deputy Director-General of the Institute of International Relations at Tsinghua University and chairs The Center for South Asian Studies. She also serves as the Deputy Secretary-General of World Peace Forum and the Deputy Editor-in-Chief of the Quarterly Journal of International Politics (Chinese version). Before she joined Tsinghua in April 2018, she was a deputy director and a senior research fellow at the China Institutes of Contemporary International Relations (CICIR), where she had worked for more than two decades. She received her doctorate degree in international relations from Jawaharlal Nehru University of India in January 2008. She is the author of Security Perception and China-India Relations (New Delhi: KW Publishers, 2009). Her current research interests include China-India relations as well as politics and security in South Asia and the Indian Ocean region.
